I found out about ProfileLinker the other day. ProfileLinker will let you maintain your different social networking profiles from the same place, on their site. Almost weekly I receive invites from my friends and contacts to some new social network, and I kindly ignore them in lack of time. So to be able to control several of my online profiles from the same place is just what I have been waiting for. (Web 2.0 Running Out of Time to Where?) From a quick glance some of the networks supported are: AIM Pages, BlackPlanet, Bolt, Hi5, Facebook, Friendster, MiGente, MySpace, Xanga, YouTube.
And I’m probably going to sound “out of it”, but I have not heard of a couple of those social networks. Though, perhaps as a new year goal, to be able to organize things more easily, this just might be up your alley.

In regards to this post and my follow-up post on First Follow-up Web 2.0 running out of time?. I really do see the need for your service, in a constantly more busy everyday life of overwhelming services.

Just providing some updates on ProfileLinker since your last review. We now support over 100 social networks and with deeper intergration. We now fetch your notes for all your favorite social networks such as MySpace, Facebook, LinkedIn, hi5, and friendster. Also, we import content such as your videos from youtube or pictures from flickr. Last and not least we provide updates across all your social networks. So no longer will you have to guess which friends update on what social networks. ProfileLinker update feed will tell you what friends updated right on your ProfileLinker homepage.
