TechCrunch wrote this morning about the New “Social” Dictionary a Web 2.0 service dubbed: Word Source. Among its features you can listen to a pronunciation, tag words, rate words and play games.

This approach is rather different from Visualizing your Dictionary that I wrote about last week. And I do like its initial simplicity, the same reason why I liked dict.org. Word source makes it presumly even more easy to search for words by allowing the following syntax:
http://word.sc/your-word
As Michael Arrington also mentions in his post a current and viable alternative is still Google search’s query syntax:
define: your-word
