Buddi is apparently a very easy and basic application approach for simple budgeting. Although an offline application, it’s available for Windows, Linux and Mac. I was looking forward to try it out on my iBook, but since I would have to install Java 1.5 on an already dangerously low free disk space level, I aborted. Instead check out LifeHacker’s review.

(Now when I can afford it, I’m thinking of a USB stick with applications?)
