Picture(s) of The Week: 15

It’s spring time, and I at least thought that was synonymous with lambs. So I went tracking to find some. But I was already several weeks too late to find any snow white newborns.

The above lamb obviously found my presence somewhat interesting, while the one below couldn’t care less.

Continuing my somewhat abstract POTW streak I began last week, the below structure is located outside the Oil Museum in Stavanger. I didn’t figure out what this actually was, but it has to do with the Oil industry, and I will try to remember to find out what it is next time I walk it.

My last picture is a picture of a crane by Tjensvollkrysset at a rather untraditional angle. The question is, was I allowed to be were I was when I took that picture? (Or what Even?)

And if you have any ideas or tips on how to interconnect my picture themes this week please let me know, sheep and the oil industry or cranes?

Takk skal du! slet litt med motiver denne uken. Er nok mest fornøyd med kranbildet ja, men feil type kran til å glede Ingve, Even og Jonathan. (Hm? Det var nesten Kasper, Jesper og Jonathan.)

On the road home after Stephen wrote this entry, I found the answer regarding the crane. He could indeed stay in a legal position and take the image. But it raises another question: Is the crane legally placed that close to a public pathway?

In english the other crane wa want is a jib…

Hi Even, I am glad my name has been cleared from your previous suspicion. Thanks for checking it out, and hopefully when the time is right a picture of your kind of “crane” will be taken some day in the future : p
