In January I was asked if I would produce a short information video, to be used to give practical information at a large youth conference in Stavanger called Impuls. I decided that this would be a good opportunity to further test the principles of a greenscreen. (In my case I ended up using a bluescreen.)

The setup was rather simple, as the nature of the information presentation was supposed to be a rather static “news anchor†kind of host, giving the practical information. I made a quick animation in After Effects (AE), basically mixing 3 Photoshop layers, then animating them using masks in AE. Adding a 3D camera movement created the necessary dynamics in the background. The actual greenscreening, setting up the matte background, went smoothly thanks to an exercise me and Ingve worked on before Christmas.
I am quite happy with the result of my first completed greenscreen project. But I must not forget to thank the people who helped me, so a big thanks to Camilla, Ingrid and Jan Magnus.
